ABOUT DENA
Dena Tyler is an actor, director, and acting coach based in New York City. For over twenty years, she has worked closely with performers of all ages, helping them bring honesty, presence, and confidence to their work on stage and screen.
Her students have booked projects across film, television, and Broadway, including The Hunger Games, Barbie, Maestro, The Holdovers, and Broadway’s The Lion King, Aladdin, Wicked, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. She has taught workshops internationally and is known as a trusted resource among agents representing young talent.
Dena is a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio and has studied with Ellen Burstyn and Al Pacino. She earned her degree in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester, where her interest in human behavior and storytelling first intersected.
